Do you blog? What else do you write: a book, eBook, even got a paper or an essay on the run? Do you love buzzclouds – by that, I mean visual maps of your favourite word candy?

I sure do.

Now, Wordle has put them out for you to play with. Enter your blog URL or a passage of writing, ensure you have JavaScript installed on your machine, and watch magic happen.

Once you see your buzzcloud, you can customise the layout, the colours, the font words appear in, and load it to a public gallery when happy with it!

What a cool way to spend ten minutes. Who am I kidding, thirty if you’ve also blogged about it.

Oh, and for the language buffs among us, or just the interested types, there’s heaps to be found in those words and themes that crop up in the centre and around the edges. I was pleased to see ‘green’, ‘fun’ and ‘people’ crop up amongst the usual suspects like ‘social’.
